What's New With Eumer Tube Flies?
Eumer Introduces Coneheads for ALL Sizes of Plastic Tubing
Posted on November 4, 2009
Eumer has now created coneheads to fit all of our sizes of plastic tubes! The coneheads now come in sizes Small to XX-Large.
Joe Fitzpatrick, Eumer Pro Staff member, says, "I have to say, when I saw the new XL and XXL cones, my mind drifted to big nasty intruder patterns for 17-20lb winter steelhead. So I grabbed some material and came up with this."
Joe's fly on the right was tied using the following items:
Tube: Green Large Eumer Plastic Tube
Tail: Purple Ostrich over chartreuse polar chenille
Body: Silver flat braid with Kingfisher blue medium Krystal Chenile over it
Front Body: Black crosscut Eumer Finn Raccoon with strands of Purple Lady Amherst at each 90 degree point
Head: Gold XL Eumer Conehead

The micro tubes come in two styles—our popular teardrop and crayfish tubes. There are also micro coneheads to fit.
