Event: Bear's Den 12th Annual Fly Fishing Expo
Where: Holiday Inn, Taunton, MA
This "Don't Miss" event hosted by the Bear's Den is coming up soon. Olli Ojamo, from Finland, will be on hand to demonstrate the benefits of the Eumer Tube Fly System. Larry Dahlberg, Star of Hunt for Big Fish, will also be on hand fo a meet-n-greet. If you are anywhere in the area, make sure to mark this event on your calendar. The event runs from 11 to 7.
Event: Bear's Den Tube Fly Tying Class
Where: Holiday Inn, Taunton, MA
Olli from Eumer will be teaching two Tube Fly Clases on Sunday as a part of the Bear's Den Annual Fy Fishing Expo. There will be two classes:
1. Saltwater Tube Fly Class which will focus on tube flies for Saltwater. The class runs from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
2. Trout Tube Fly Class which will focus on tube fly patterns for trout. The class runs from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Participants need to bring the following: a standard fly tying vise, scissors, tying thread, and super glue (or zap-a-gap). Eumer Tube Flies will supply the necessary materials. Call the Bear's Den for more details at 508-977-0700.

Event: International Pike Fly Fishing Tournament
Where: Replot Island, Finland
Six Countries will battle it out for Piking Glory over 3 intense days in the first ever International Pike Fly Tournament. The tournament will be held on Replot island which is situated in the famous Kvarken World Natural Heritage Site from the 10th – 13th May 2010. IT is the 1st international pike fly tournament ever to be held in Finland. The waters around Replot island are very special waters indeed.
